Engineering teams use GitHub for code and then build a spreadsheet to answer questions about it: which releases are waiting for review, which repos have stale branches, which services lack an owner. Connect GitHub with a GitHub App and describe the tool, and the Bench builds it on live repository data. The GitHub App uses short-lived tokens and is limited to the repositories you pick.

The same connection lets Chamfer sync each app’s source to a repository you own. Every change made in the builder, the visual editor or over Chamfer MCP becomes a commit, and you can require an approved pull request before a release reaches production. Engineers get their usual review flow for apps built by other teams, and the Chamfer Sign-off is recorded next to the merge. A release sign-off board or a stale-branch cleanup are typical first tools.
